Begin Again

Show me that smile again
That’s known to rejuvenate.
Show me that passion
That resurrects the surge of love.
Show me the hunch of warm kisses.
We have much more than these crazy indifferences.

Tell me that new hymn
That you love to hum these days.
Tell me that secret
That makes your eyes ablaze.
Tell me that you miss the brush of our skins.
We have much more in store than these crazy indifferences.

Let’s begin anew from back of the time
With warm, calm glances.
Love begins at the fingertips
Before it burns on our lips.
Let’s take a leap of faith.
Let’s begin again before it slips.

Hug me from behind.
Ask me to stay, never leave.
Inhale the warmth of our summer breaths.
Let’s cleave.

Flutter again in our known proximity.
Find a new shore and a little more.
Seep again toward immortality.
We won’t survive this timidity.
No, not anymore.

Let’s begin anew from back of the time
With warm, calm glances.
Love begins at the fingertips
Before it burns on our lips.
Let’s take a leap of faith.
Let’s begin again before it slips.
