Lily-livered

She’s dangerously living on the edge,
Weed and booze: her skidding sledge to escape
From everything that could confine her fleeing mind;

She’s a gust of wildest wind,
The kind that blows away everything,
She needs someone to embrace and kiss her life,
But she always denies;

She’s a delicate bud, wrapped in petals,
Living among thorns – she feels protected,
She’s pushing the limits of hazards around her,
Almost everyday;

She’s a beautiful vase with invisible cracks,
She knows no destination, just few broken tracks,
She needs someone to embrace and kiss her life,
But she always denies,

For she’s lily-livered of every good thing she deserves.
