In attempt
To release myself
From the void
That leaps in between
The day and night
I try
To draw her face on the mirror
With a small piece of her kohl pencil
That she abandoned
Assuming being useless
Like me,
Though I’m a bad artist
But still
Her face somehow appears
In the scribbles.
This way
My days pass
By drawing her
And nights:
In communicating with these doodles,
At times the things those appear worthless
Turn out to be useful.
