One last kiss

Got me to the corner, Saw me crashing down
Told me that he loved her, Gave me reasons to frown
I missed him then and there
Like he was miles and miles away
It was odd, it was awkward
but I still wanted to say

Baby, kiss me
If you loved me ever
Baby, kiss me
Let me try to snatch you back
Baby, kiss me
I know this is over
Baby, kiss me
One last time

He kept talking about her, Scratching my bleeding heart
Hitting on the bull’s eye, Like some pro in a game of darts
All the Hows and the Wheres
Nothing’s going my way
He was bad, he was bastard
But I still wanted to say

Baby, kiss me
If you loved me ever
Baby, kiss me
Let me try to snatch you back
Baby, kiss me
I know this is over
Baby, kiss me
One last time

Except of all the wrong things he did to me that night
Funny, I was falling hard yet was getting high
One last kiss could’ve given me impractical hopes
I’m glad he did at least one thing that was good
He didn’t kiss me.
