Dreamer

Laying awake facing roof
Watching artificial stars of radium
Singing duet, not missing a line
Just like her parts, she would sing to him
She kisses him, he kisses her
Both (of them) on his biceps brachii
Envisioning her arms around him
Happy tears twinkling in his eyes
Talking to himself, he smiles
Asking questions, conveying replies
One with apple juice, other with scotch
Two glasses sitting pretty side by side

He’s hopelessly in love with her
In love with her shadows
Whom he never met before.
