Nucleus

Taking pills to forget the things that got stuck
on my soul like tattoos,
Ignoring signboards
which may lead me to crash-land into you.
I may seem superlatively composed
but things are not the way they always seem
“Double quoted” our love
getting strikethrough.

This chain reaction that started from
splitting us into two,
reached to the center crushing atoms
till no one could see them,
I guess this is what happens when an element
Losses its nucleus
I always knew that for me it was you.

Sitting on the chair at the street
where we used to walk hands in hands,
Right outside the café
where we used to meet.
Can’t collect my pieces up to get inside
I’m afraid that I’ll find you.

Don’t know how I reached here
waiting this hypothermia to freeze me to my knees
and shatter into million pieces
so tiny to be recognized.
but the fire is still burning, even brighter
maybe that is what happens when an element
losses its nucleus,
I always knew that for me it was you.

Emotion just spills into a massive river of words and i cant help but wonder, where are you getting your creativity from. Outstanding.
