Carelessly he kept on walking
Sensing someone used to chase him everyday
Listening to her tiptoes and secret whispers
Ignored what she always used to say
His heart pounded sounding of the drums
A projection of emotions but he never showed
Knowing he can not avoid her forever
One day she’ll meet for sure right across the road
The day was beautiful, perfect time and the perfect place
Her hands overstretched, she wore a smiling face
He couldn’t avoid falling and she took away his breath
That day he didn’t die; he finally met his death.

I love how fluently you narrate the stories in your poems. This is beautiful.
Thank you Dear! It is good to see you talking 😉
