Message in a bottle

She struggled
to share her feelings
about me
many times,
She was shy as I always believed
then one day
She dropped the message
in a bottle
and threw it in the ocean
of uncertainty,
and I kept waiting at the other side
eagerly
for it to find me someday.
..
Her words “consider this bottle as my heart
and every single word written on the piece of paper
is what you mean to me”
kept on echoing in my ears
until I found it.
..
After twelve years…
I found the bottle… EMPTY
containing
invisible piece of paper
written nothing
all over it.
..
This is how
the confusion of our relation
ended
with couple of signatures.
..
But I’m glad
that the message is finally
delivered.

  3. Your writings, your poetry, is always with a hint of sadness, with a hint of this needed attention and us, as readers, just want to reach out to you and hug you.
