Make a wish

Throw you in my arms
anticipate a kiss
close your eyes for awhile
and make a wish

clutch my leg in between yours
rest your head on my chest
listen to the heartbeat
put aside your list

we’ll rule this world
will lead it from the front
plowing the seeds of love
this is the way we’ll exist

hold my hand in yours
see how beautifully do they fit
walk a distance together
and make a wish

pick a star from the sky
draw it on our wrists
it’ll guide us forever
in the darkest nights, through the mists

we’ll rule this world
will lead it from the front
plowing the seeds of love
this is the way we’ll exist

make a wish
and it will come true
just make a wish.

The romantics and tenderness do suck one in, I loved this part:”pick a star from the sky
    draw it on our wrists
    it’ll guide us forever
in the darkest nights, through the mists”

Absolutely adorable. A perfect piece to convey the perfect wish. I actually do wish on stars and on pennies that I find on the ground. xx
