Block my artery
block my faith
block my sanity
or the rage

I WILL make a hole in your walls
for I may have slowed down
but I’m not your thrall

block my pores
block my senses
block the ambiguity
or the defenses

I WILL stitch a pattern of my thoughts
for I may have slowed down
but I’ve got my spots

I’ll scratch my recuperated wounds
little more I’ll bleed
from down under your mighty bricks
my words will continue to leak

I WILL find a way to convey my messages
for I may have slowed down
but I’m not finished

not yet.

    1. Aww.. thank you for the nomination but I do not participate in awards anymore but I really appreciate it. Thank you once again and congratulations to you! 🙂

    2. That’s so kind of you to be so gracious about this. I love reading your poetry and look forward to reading more. 🙂
