Next to me

sad alone in car

Since when you walked out,

I stare at the empty seat of my car,

How when you were sitting here right next to me,

We had gone so so far,

Smell of your perfume is still in the air,

I close my eyes and it feels you’re still in here,

Like in a moment you’ll tickle,

I’ll shout to stop; you’ll burst out in giggle,

 Baby,

I am so sorry that my love wasn’t enough,

It couldn’t make you stay,

Here with me,

So many things we talked about,

At the backseat of my car,

When nobody wanted to see us together,

We dreamed making our home on a distant star,

(We really had gone so far),

Sound of your voice I still hear,

I close my eyes; you’re still in here,

Like in a moment you’ll change from angry to naughty,

Will drag me down to ride on me,

 But Baby,

I am so sorry that my love wasn’t enough,

It couldn’t make you stay,

Here with me,

All the roads, we traveled,

Seem too long now,

We were so happy together,

Why it went wrong, how?

There was a time when we were about to flee,

Now I’m sorry I couldn’t make you stay,

Here next to me…

There’s a magic in your words that makes me re-visit your blog every-time though usually as a silent spectator. My best wishes to you. God bless!!!
