Summer of ’95

There came a girl in my neighborhood,

What she ever wanted,

I never understood,

How perfectly cute she was, an absolute darling,

I was so dumb,

Two eyes, one nose, on a pumpkin,

Peeping through window entire day,

Had a heavy heart,

But could never say,

Oh Gosh, my entire life,

Never felt so alive,

As was in the summer of ’95,

 ~

Lying on terrace when it got dark,

Finding hearts,

In glittering stars,

Knew her name when someone called,

Then spent afternoons,

In finding out our future,

By a love calculator,

Staring at her window,

Desperately waiting for her to show,

Playing in front of her house,

When for the first time our eyes collide,

Felt that I found the love of my life,

It was the summer of ’95,

 Ohoo the summer of ‘95

Summer of ’95 continues
