You’re my hero

Smiling_girl

I am out of my mind,

Tired of all the things,

Experienced throughout the day,

I talk loud,

Even when I’m not supposed to,

You hold me in your arms,

Kiss my lips,

Cool me down, without saying a word,

Then I know… you’re my hero,

You take care of all the things,

When I am away,

And I complain for carpet not being in place,

You don’t argue back,

Keep my head in your lap,

And sing me a lullaby,

When I struggle to sleep,

And I know… you’re my hero,

Every now and then you make me wonder,

How you ended up with me,

You keep my life on a track,

You’re so perfect,

I am fortunate that I can kiss,

Your angel lips,

Whenever I want,

I’m struggling to concentrate,

To write a line for my poem,

I’m about to yell on kids,

‘Coz the sound of TV is so loud,

And they don’t listen,

You start a game,

Like you read my mind,

There is silence again,

Then I know… you’re my hero,

Like the old times,

When I struggled in swimming pool,

You rescued me,

That was the first time,

When we met,

Though I hesitated,

But you kissed me instead,

You smile at me as I’m lost in memories,

And I know… you’re my hero.

Every now and then you make me wonder,

How you ended up with me,

You keep my life on a track,

You’re so perfect,

I am fortunate that I can kiss,

Your angel lips,

Whenever I want.
