Invisible

Walking together when we have discussion,

Sometimes I feel that you don’t listen,

You say your words you wanna say,

And my words used to fall midway,

Somehow they don’t reach your ears,

Every time there comes a dead air,

And when your phone rings when I am talking,

You pick it up as my words mean nothing,

You continue talking on phone,

As I walk beside waiting for you to put it down,

 ~

And you used to make me wonder every now and then,

Am I invisible?

Are my words voiceless too?

Is whatever I write transparent?

Or they are too weak to melt you?

You make me wonder that very often,

And I wish to surrender every now and then,

Quit trying to reach you,

‘Coz it does not make any sense,

When every time my words fall on face,

 ~

While chatting with you over internet,

After so long when we connect,

You keep the conversation towards your interest,

What comes in my way is to adjust,

And then you go silent all of a sudden,

When I keep waiting desperately,

You don’t even say bye or good night,

Without telling me you go out of sight,

I don’t know if you keep talking somebody else,

But I used to wait for you for hours without a fail,

 ~

And you used to make me wonder every now and then,

Am I invisible?

Are my words voiceless too?

Is whatever I write transparent?

Or they are too weak to melt you?

You make me wonder that very often,

And I wish to surrender every now and then,

Quit trying to reach you,

‘Coz it does not make any sense,

When every time my words fall on face.
