Time for a new Song

It’s just a state,

Being in love or in hate,

Once it’s over it’s too late,

To go back and re-initiate,

It’s like you can’t eat the same piece again,

That you already ate,

Even if there is fresh air around,

You’ll still suffocate,

You’ve already lost the strings,

Now, you can’t operate,

Recollect your pieces,

Hold tight where they situate and decorate,

You can’t get anything reversed,

You’ve got to go ahead to find yourself a new mate,

That’s life, that’s the way it goes on,

That’s how the song of life plays on,

Banging on the same door can only break it through,

But it can’t turn a lie into truth,

Find a place for yourself, make it home,

Let go off the things already gone,

Enough you’ve sung the same rhythm,

It’s the time for a new song…

It takes time I know,

For precious memories to go,

Open wounds do not heal by itself,

They recover faster with a cure,

It’s the time to get your spine straight,

It’ll break if you further bow,

Change the reel you’ve been watching,

Now is the time for another show,

You’re not going to die so soon,

Shout it out, let them know,

You deserve a better life,

And loads of love to and fro,

That’s life, that’s the way it goes on,

That’s how the song of life plays on,

Banging on the same door can only break it through,

But it can’t turn a lie into truth,

Find a place for yourself, make it home,

Let go off the things already gone,

Enough you’ve sung the same rhythm,

It’s the time for a new song…
