Unknown Direction

In a crowd…

In search of life…

We are running…

Every moment,

Every second,

Holding breath,

Blindfolded,

In an unknown direction,

 But why?

For what?

We don’t know…

Like in search of some stranger,

Putting down every familiar face,

What lies ahead that we’ll find?

What are we leaving behind?

We have no idea…

As if there are complaints with everyone,

As if we want to just go away and run,

Many times we stumble,

Fell into the ground,

Stand back with a new wound

And make some howling sound,

Soaking in sweat,

Drying off the eyes wet,

We are running…

In an unknown direction,

Don’t have time to console anyone,

Neither going to,

Breaking hearts to save the broken one from being broken,

In search of who?

Whom to meet?

Don’t know…

But,

Holding breath,

Blindfolded,

In possession of some strange obsession,

We are running…

In an unknown direction,

Don’t know…

What to achieve?

What do we leave?

But…

Shrinking our horizons in a desire to grab it all,

Imprisoned by inclination,

Running away from destination,

In possession of some strange obsession,

We are running…

In an unknown direction…
